1985 to 2005   Employed with the Children’s Hospital of Denver, CO.  My responsibilities included monitoring and upkeep of the building automation Systems, which included HVAC units, control and breathing air equipment, snow melt glycol pumps, fire alarm system and more. I headed the safety department which included MSDS reporting, chemical spills major and minor, maintain records and report weekly updates for contractor and vendor notifications.

2007 to 2008   Started S&R Environmental Consulting Inc. As President and majority owner of the company my responsibilities included but not limited to negotiating contracts with new vendors such as Xcel energy, KB Homes, and several restoration companies. My environmental related duties included: hazardous material storage, reporting, and containment, biologic/non-biologic spill response, containment and regulatory reporting, asbestos management reporting, and asbestos spill response, containment, and reporting.  Mr. O’Hara retains current certifications for OSHA Confined Space, EPA Hazardous Material Management, EPA Level 1&2 Chemical and Biologic Spill Response, EPA Terrorist Response, EPA and State of Colorado Asbestos Building Inspector for Asbestos bulk sampling and analysis, EPA and State of Colorado Air Monitoring Specialist, and NIOSH 582 certification for microscopic analysis of asbestos air sampling, Ambient monitoring for Hexavalant chrome.
